Invisalign

Invisalign braces are made from thin, clear, flexible plastic. They sit over the top of your teeth and are practically invisible so that most people won’t even know that you’re wearing braces.

Once you decide to go ahead with treatment, your teeth will be scanned to give a 3D image of how your teeth look now and how they will change week by week with Invisalign treatment.

Your braces will then be custom-made for you, and this will take the form of a series of aligners which you change; usually 1–2 weeks.

Your teeth will move little by little until they reach their correct position.

Who needs Invisalign

Invisalign is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth and improve bite alignment. It is typically recommended for individuals with mild to moderate orthodontic issues, such as crowded or spaced teeth, overbite, or under bite. Invisalign is a discreet and convenient alternative to traditional braces and can be used by both teens and adults.

What our pacients say about us

Mary Harding

Amazing team from reception to nurses and doctors.

As a very nervous patient, I have received very kind and professional care from the lovely Doctor Georgeta Miron who takes the time to explain treatment and put my mind at ease.

I must also thank Dr. Ancuta Tiplic who I was referred to for some specialist treatment and was also very kind and considerate.

Many Thanks to all the team.

Cannot praise enough the care, patience and professionalism of Dr. Ana Andreea Vasiliu and the EgoDent staff. I am one of the worst dental patients possible, but Andreea always finds the best way to deal with me :)

FAQ

It is generally recommended to visit the dentist every six months for regular check-ups and professional teeth cleaning. However, the frequency may vary depending on your oral health needs. Your dentist will provide personalized recommendations based on your specific dental condition.

To maintain good oral hygiene, it is essential to brush your teeth at least twice a day using fluoride toothpaste, floss daily to remove plaque and food particles between your teeth, and rinse with an antimicrobial mouthwash. Additionally, adopting a healthy diet low in sugary and acidic foods and drinks can contribute to maintaining optimal oral health.

In the event of a dental emergency such as a toothache, knocked-out tooth, or injury to the mouth, it is important to contact your dentist immediately. They can provide guidance over the phone and schedule an emergency appointment to address the issue promptly. It is crucial not to delay seeking dental care in emergency situations to prevent further complications.

Dental X-rays, when performed with proper safety precautions, are considered safe. The amount of radiation exposure from dental X-rays is minimal, and dentists use lead aprons and collars to protect patients from unnecessary radiation. X-rays play a crucial role in diagnosing dental conditions that are not visible to the naked eye, helping dentists develop appropriate treatment plans.

There are several options for replacing missing teeth, including dental implants, bridges, and dentures. Dental implants are a popular choice as they provide a permanent solution that looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth. Bridges are used to fill the gap between one or more missing teeth, while dentures are removable appliances that replace multiple missing teeth. Your dentist can assess your specific case and recommend the most suitable option for you.
